So so, how's my Shanghai?

I am kind of doubtful that there are still people who read my blog. Not to mention "Read", I don't even think that anyone would ever clicked to browsed my long abandoned blog at all!

Regardless with near to zero readers, I decided to at least come out with something about Shanghai at least since I have been here for almost half a year.

Well well well, first and foremost, 1 thing that has been pretty absolute is that I LOVE SHANGHAI! Till now, I still LOVE SHANGHAI!! Haha... I remembered people calling me "Cinapek" or whatsoever. You know what, I feel great here. I love my chinese friends a lot! I love life here even though sometimes I really craze for companionship. I love the weather here which is giving me so many options for fashion. I love food here where you kind of have constant doubt on what to eat.

Shanghai is great! But that doesn't mean that I am giving up on me being a Malaysian. I still speak Manglish off and on. I drink white coffee almost everyday. haha. I tell people about Malaysia a lot and kind of luring everyone to travel there. Haha.

The development here is incredibly rapid. It's like in a flip of eyes you see extra buildings around you. First time I came here was 2007, there were like merely 4 lines of metro. Currently, I think they are building their 15th metro line. Glad to mention that 1 of the lines is merely beside where I am staying now.

Shanghai Expo is around the corner. The government lives for it! Expo is like a force that pushes everything in Shanghai to the limit.

I had some really good times and bad times here. This is life, things have to compromise between good and bad.

I guess I have failed my fellow blog readers, profoundly.
If blogs are to be addressed as our mansions, I think mine will be called an abandoned castle.
After all, you know me, Miki. She disappears and appears out of no reasons from time to time.
People have yelled at me for that reason a lot.

Adolescence seems like history to anyone out there of my age.
But I guess I have been reluctant to forgo.
Everyone likes being young when they are given the keys to fly by their own.
But when you are up in the air flying high for too long, you hope to stop and just land from where you begun.
You can't coz' there's no more space to accommodate you in that land.
So, whether you like it or not, you have to continue to soar high.

At the age of 22, I have to say,
"Bye bye Adolescence!"
"Hello, hard times!"

If you know what I mean,
I have been living in a state of crap for months.
It's time for me to spread my wings even harder,
and say Goodbye to old times.

I Had A Dream

I had a dream last night. Bad dream.

Not inspired, but terrified.

Maybe it was my attitude.
I remembered I was half way through my research notes.

They had a meeting.
No, we had a meeting.
I saw all my group members for the shoot.
Some seemed friendly, some seemed not.
The friendly ones did not smile to me not even for a second.
I sensed pressure. I sensed danger.

The meeting ended, but I could not hear what they has discussed.
I was putting on a bitter face.
All a sudden everyone started starring at me.
I saw people pointing at me.
They were obviously very unhappy with me.
Some liked me and wanted to help me but in vain.
I was terrified.

Then, I could start hearing their voices.
'Miki will be eliminated, afterwards!'
It was stressful.
I felt like what the Survivor felt in the reality show.
It's like waiting to be chopped in the tribal council yet you can no longer save yourself.
I started weeping, yelling.
I did not know why I lost control.
I ran to those I was close with.
They lowered their heads with disappointment.
I yelled at one of them,
"I was doing my job last night! I really was doing!
I read them in detailed and I scaled them out!
I did my job!
It's almost finished!
Wait for a while! Just Wait for a little while more!"
I knew they wanted so much to help me, yet they could not do anything.
I was devastated.
I had no idea what to do at all.
I dashed straight to the head of the group,
starring at him in tears.
I yelled at him,
"I tried! I tried so hard!
What do you do this to me?
How can you do this to me?!"
He answered,
"You're no longer useful.
You're no longer powerful."

I broke down,
knowing that I would have to work alone after that.
I wanted so much to be in the group.
I did not wanna quit at all!
I saw no hope.
And

I was awake.

I was terrified, truly terrified.

Just watched a documentary like a couple of minutes ago. Inspired. Truly inspired.

I remember in those times when I started grabbing my Science textbook in schools, there are always these initial topic that we are compulsory to learn.
That is the Evolutionary Theory.
Basically, it is all about living creatures emerged through transitions of each other on earth and the the theory was initiated by Charles Darwin.

From what I learned in school last time...
1st... We were from a piece of protein or something.
2nd... It turned into creatures that can swim and lived underwater.
3rd... Fishes didn't want to swim anymore and they started crawling to the land.
4th...These creatures wanted to conquer even the sky so they flied and they had more space to move.
5th... Animals that laid eggs suddenly turned into animals that bore babies.
6th... Crawling animals slowly gave up crawling and started walking and climbed trees.
7th... Monkeys instantly became clever after picking up animals that were being burned and had their first BBQ.
8th... These ' Monkeys' then began to get hold of everything and called themselves 'Human'.

I believed it. Why? Coz' teachers said so and the scientists said so. Even in exams we had to answer these questions and assumed everything was true. Or else it would turn out to be wrong if did not assume these as TRUE.
Well, we were kids and there are still kids in school and these assumptions are still being included in textbooks as scientific facts while majority of the facts are dismissed by Evolutionists themselves.

Cut it short. There are actually a numbers of reasons that Evolutionary Theory still being defended.

1.Human cannot accept the fact that all living creatures are created differently with their very unique functions and features by God.

People just cannot take the fact that things can be so perfectly created without any self adjustment.

2. Propaganda led the Evolutionary Theory to a paradigm shift by manipulating people to believe that the Theory is the ultimate truth.

For there are no other scientific theory that was emitted to explain the origin of human, people were confident with Darwin's Theory and assumed everything he said was true.
Hence, the Theory was taken as a scientific fact that shift people's mindset to think that Evolution is ultimate truth of the origin of human.

3. Drawings, and even films on the Theory that seems so vivid has also been used in explaining the Theory as it looked like it really happened.

As the Theory spread around as a fact, drawings and moving pictures appeared all around the media from magazines , to books, to documentary and even films.
Bear in mind that those pictures are merely IMAGINATION of scientists and it is the skills of producing the pictures that manipulating into believing it is true.

4. Historical skeletons, scarps of creatures that were being researched and observed were all given the texture merely through the imaginations of evolutionists.

From the documentary I watched just a while ago, it has been shown that a scarp of an ancient monkey was given three different types of textures.
If an extincted creature is being researched on its appearance and functionality, the researcher can actually fill the skeletons based on all his of her IMAGINATION.
Some evolutionists actually proved and acknowledged that the differences of the scarps and skeletons between several kinds of ancient apes can be found in the differences of modern human itself as different races contain different structures.
Moreover, there are tons of different races existed in the world nowadays. How would you know if the researchers had merely got the scarps of the human that its race differed from the researchers itself. (Of course they will think it is not their kind!)

It seems so hard for human to believe that all living creatures on earth are created perfectly and differently by God. The truth is that no matter how hard scientists tried to encounter the similarities in terms of biology between creatures, there are still many specific features that are so unique and inexplainable came in contrast with the Evolutionary Theory that had assumed that creatures were transited from each other.

Man are man, we are not monkeys!
Man are so much different from monkeys as God has created us in priority.

Sorry for my abrupt disappearance ya.
Set aside my blog for the changes of my daily routine for the past few months.
Yeah, this is a strenuous year for me.
University is not as easy anymore, hehe. Have to utilise almost everything that I've learned in classes. Hectic, yet not too stressful. At least, I enjoyed it a lot and am still enjoying =)
God granted me some life-changing experiences lately. He colored my life, with guidelines that I've to comprehend by myself. Yet, THANK GOD for His Love. Can't imagine how my life will be without HIM.

Hohoho~ Finally I'm in the mood of blogging...
Pig year, huh? Now I've an excuse for being lazy... hahahaha...

As a matter of fact, this semester is really a hefty semester. So much to catch up with, so many tasks to be acomplished... hahahaha..
Yet, it's getting more and more challenging and I'm getting more and more into it!
TV production is really a fun job to deal with, but it can turn your life upside down if you're not a good planner. Cut it short, it's a 24 hour job. You need to commit your time....almost all of your time....coz my mere 2 days of production was already messing up my routine. Haha...
Still, I like it!
I like being a director...
I like being a production crew...
You feel so pro in a team...
and pretty proud of yourself...
haha...

Didn't wanna make blogging as part of my routine. That's why i left....
At least I've to mark down a bit of my late 2006 & hmm...my beginning of 2007.

I actually wondered what's the point of this whole blogging thing? An announcement board? A space for everyone to read your 'news'? Or simply a place just to gather friends around?
It was more like a 'join-the-wagon' trend when i first owned my blog. Why, again? Coz everyone had 1...

Okay, that were all crap. Hehe...Forget it.
Nothing much but work last year end. My working routine occupied most of my time till November. Spent my 1st week of December in Singapore and whoa...money were gone so quickly over there. Then, went back to KL for some university affairs to deal with, as well as to attend Planet Shakers concert. Merely went for a night, whoa...the crowd were so aggressive, but was in high spirit to be back in a concert hall jumping around, seeing God's people having such craze for God. That really made me miss HUGE concerts. I hope i could go for HUGE.
My Christmas week was dedicated to my entire family. Yeah, spent it in Bangkok as well as Pattaya with them. Too much to describe...haha...In conclusion, marvellous trip, great time of fellowship!

Summer Camp

Am soooo reluctant to get back to routine!

I guess I did mentioned that I was going to China.
As a matter of fact, I went there for a summer camp. Wasn't that sure what's it all about until I was there.

It's a Summer Camp in Beijing, where Chinese from 46 countries as well as Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau gathered around and kind of had fellowship. I and my team actually kind of represented the Cantonese of Malaysia.
Guess what, there're about 5000 campers.
Imagine 5000 people cramped together while we're in the Great Wall.
It's like...

OMG!!!

5000 people! It's few times of HUGE Camp!
That was the grandest I've ever participated in!
We're placed in the biggest hotel in Beijing due to the enormous number of participants.
Great hotel, nice rooms and yeah, nice weather in Beijing!!!

Before heading to Beijing, our team actually departed for FoShan, Guang Dong.
Got down to bussiness with all the root-seeking journeys. Learned lots about Guang Dong and FoShan, and experienced many different stuff e.g. Food!!! haha!
That's coz most of us, in the team , our ancestors were originated from that province. Great to know where we're supposed to be from.Great experience though!

Durians...What are Durians???

Really hilarious recalling the conversation with Jong Hyun a couple of days ago...
It's roughly like this...

Miki: Hey, do you know Durian? I ate lots of Durians yesterday.
Jong Hyun: Sorry sorry, what is that?
Miki: Durian, don't you know? It's a kind of tropical fruits. Don't you have it in Korea?
Jong Hyun: No, I've never heard of it before! How does it looks like?
Miki: Wait wait, I think I can find you some pictures.

Jong Hyun: Hmm...it looks...Weird!
Miki: Weird? No, it's nice...Really NICE!!!
Jong Hyun: Oh really? I don't know that, but it really looks...Weird.
Miki: No, it's NICE!!! It's durian season now anyway and durians are really CHEAP at the moment. That's why I ate a lot!

I guess Jong Hyun was still blurred out, as he's never seen any Durians in his life before!

Durian, weird??? How weird???

In conclusion,
1 important fact = KOREA DON'T HAVE DURIANS!!!
They don't even have a name for it in Korean!

And in fact, you can't find a name for Rambutans too in Korean.

Sad case, I love both of the fruits very much!
I wonder if they don't have Langsats too...

Okay,back to Durians...
I doubt it's because Koreans hate durians or what. Or maybe the sweetness of Durians isn't the kind of sweetness they are fond of...
But we brought Sung to one of the stalls in the night market to eat durians too when we're in Port Dickson. And guess what, it's totally a disaster to her! She couldn't even stand the smell.
But...
I LOVE DURIANS!!!
There're NICE!!!

I have really a great deal of craze and gluttony on Durians especially when it comes to Durian Cendol!!!
Still, Malacca Durian Cendol is the best!!!

Aha... I know it's tantalizing...

Discovered another new way of eating Durian today...
Haha...Durian Rice.

Anyone ever tried? If you did, tell me how's taste like!

So Thank God we do have Durians & Rambutans here in Malaysia.
That makes us fortunate to have the opportunity to savour all these wonderful tropical fruits!

Temporary Remedy

Korean test again on Monday. Probably this's the best remedy I can get...

After a lousy frustration from a failure of a simple Korean test, Miki's currently overwhelmed by 'gila-ness'(In case you don't get it, ask me!!!).
My daily routine is all about Korean now...

(These may be some alien languages to you coz you may not understand because I'm translating them using my own words)
Thinking of food = Pulkogi, Kimchi, Kimbak...etc.
Thinking of numbers = ir, i, sam, sa, o...etc.
Thinking of family = on ma, a pa, nam dong sang, ong ni... etc.
Thinking of everything! = (1 word) him ne ja!!!

You know what, everybody around me said that if you want to learn a language, you must go to the country to experience and learn...
So it basically means that,
I've lots more countries that I'm 'obliged to' explore... XD
Hahaha...

In conclusion,
When I first registered for Korean classes, it's a formula that I've already given my dad...
Learning Korean = $ to Korean + $ for classes
When I decided to go all out for Japanese,
Learning Japanese = $ to Japan + $ for Miki's extra staminia
When I first touched Thai(Actually just a little bit, am stimulating interests),
Learning Thai = $ to Bangkok + $ to prevent severe depression
When Doreen took up French classes and I decided to learn from her,
Learning French = $ to France + $ for sufficient toleration
And when I was born to learn Chinese,
Learning Chinese = $ to China (Which I've finally got it!) + $ to feed me with Chinese

I know..
It's all crap...
Told you, Miki's overwhelmed with 'gila-ness'...

Ahaha... I'm getting more and more into learning languages already!
Korean classes finally started last week! And lousy NTV7 trip coincided with the same day that caused my absence in that class.Was sooooo much worried about catching up while I was in the TV station.Luckily I still managed to catch up.
By now, I'm cracking my head to memorize all these,

As a matter of fact, am also in the process of learning Japanese.

Great, HUGE is gonna be in Malacca again this year.
Really can't forget last year's HUGE Concert. Singing in front of approximately 1000 audiences was truly AWESOME!

Of course I hope it's never a past tense. Jon's enthusiasism is as strong as mine indeed.
I wanna sing again this year!!! But, will I have the opportunity???

I've gotta work this year end. No more gallivanting in town splashing money nor lazing around at home to while away time this year. Aihz...growing up is totally Not FUN!!!
I hope the time & dates of the concerts' practices won't crash with my working time coz' I eagerly wanna sing for HUGE Concerts again this year!!!

My 'Hut'

Couldn't figure out what else to blog, so I thought I can narrate a little bit about my current 'hut'(Don't whether I should call it 'Home') .

Hmm...It's gonna be June, so...I've been here for......5 months!
My first two months in PJ was like in jail, truthfully... Homesick was terribly driving me insane!
I still remember I even told Kee Aun I hated KL, and of course he asked why...I didn't even take a pinch of salt and answered...
"COZ' MY HOME IS NOT HERE!!!"
Putting on a brave front was like something I was obliged to do

Although it's been a looong period, I still hope God'll restore my Youth Group in FMPP(My church) that I used to slog away for...

I still miss every single happy moment with them...

That was truly a tough yet joyful experience...

Giving all out to a almost no hope Youth Group seemed to be silly to many people, but I bore FAITH...And maybe my FAITH alone wasn't really STRONG enough...

Therefore, God made this decision to terminate everything.

"Santoso" is a farmer and a pastor for a small village church in Indonesia. He was attacked on the way home after sharing Christ with Muslims on a farm in the city of Poso. He and a friend, both on motorbikes, were hit with a machete wielded by a Muslim who jumped from a bush. The Muslim tried to cut off his head but missed, hitting him in the mouth. He ran to his village holding his face. Because of the attack Santoso lost 10 teeth and damaged his tongue and his friend's fingers were cut off. (This was the third attempt on Santoso's life.) VOMedical staff has flown him to Java twice for treatment and is happy to report that Santoso now has teeth implants. Before going into his last surgery, he told us, "I read Ephesians 1:19 which promises God's great power to us who believe God sends me power so I can bear suffering. We rejoice that one Muslim has come to Christ."

Christians across the 3,000 inhabited islands of Indonesia are suffering increased attacks, church burnings, imprisonment and threats from angry mobs because of their bold faith in Jesus Christ! Anger was aroused...
I hoped they would comprehend...
When I was mad of somebody, I was even mad of myself more!
But it was useless...
Coz in their eyes, I was already determined to be SINFUL...
How I wished they could see my heavy & vulnerable heart...
Coz the scars I left in their hearts, were even giving me deeper scars...

Embracing my pillow,
I was thrashing around on my bed,
It had already passed 12 at mid-night,
In that wee hours of the morning,
I couldn't stop weepin & bear,
God was beside me,
Giving me a BIG HUG!

And I tearfully asked Him,
"Father, why would I have to comfront all these? Why did sacrifices resulted in such ways?"
HE gently patted my head and answered,
"My child, no matter what had happened, I am always here with you and I still LOVE you!"
His Words touched me even deeper, and more tears rolled down my cheeks,
HE carried on with His Words, touching my forehead,

But my heart was already torn into pieces, I could barely feel that I had any strength,

The Lord comforted me,

And this definitely reminds me that I was once a RCS ( Red Crescent Society ) member...for 6 years...

That day was truly a memorable day, pondering over the 6 years I've been struggling for the society... & First Aid... It was like everything just lapsed in a flip of eyes, like a dream...

Studio Hours...

Ho!I've finally gotta get into the studio for recording!
Have been to the studio(of my campus,of course!) for like...5 times...since...(I've also forgotten when)!
Well,I guess it has to be started like this...

1 early morning,on the 18th of February 2006...
Miki's jolted awake reluctantly...and she dashed off to her university...
And waited like this...
with her dearly pathners feat. coursemates,Doreen & Meng Yi...

They're anticipating for this door to be opened...actually...

While they're waiting,Meng Yi became Miki's model...due to Miki's un-photogenic look...

Sooner than they had expected,somebody grabbed a key and got it opened and when they stepped in,for the first time...they're actually,overwhelmmed by excitements.Absolutely,they're impressed with what they'd seen...

And they began to get down to bussiness...
Miki's the 1st to record...

And her technician worked pretty hard...

Haha...Being in the studio was kind of...Cool! Especially when you're a 1st-timer...

Finally,she had done with her part!Yeah!

It was then,Doreen's time to imitate a DJ...

She looked so professional with Miki's photographing skills,isn't it?lolz...
Miki,the technician slogged away as well...

However,time flew so rapidly that they didn't realize it's the time to go...
Nevertheless,Miki,Doreen and Meng Yi had a gala time in the studio...And I definitely have no regrets to take up Broadcasting...

Approximately 2 days later,3 of them had another studio hour again...This time,Kenneth was there too...

Miki,with her assignment done...were merely lazing around...having fun with Meng Yi...

Unlike poor Doreen,who're still having her time with her recording...but she looked sooo professional!

As a Broadcasting student,Miki's always enjoyed being in the studio.She definitely looked foward to her next studio hour...

Just the next day,she was asked to go to the studio once again,by some of her coursemates...

Kind of 'addicted to the Studio after all these... Yet, my recording was still not done...
Went back to there for some editing and being a busybody to listen to some other friends of mine to speak, again...
This time we did have much fun,doing all sort of crazy stuff...

I actually had some tough time with my pitching when I was recording...Singing in studio was not easy at all!

Nevertheless,I managed to overcome them!Yeah!And my assignment was done!

Another week,on Saturday,
Again,I headed there...It's actually Leap Chuan's turn to record...This time we brought our very favorite Journalism students, Kenneth,Grace and Na Wen...
You could see their curiousity on their faces...

Leap Chuan,1 of the very rare species---GUYS in my class developed a pretty unique way of speaking on air...I like it a lot!

And Miki's was posting again!

even with our Mr. Definite Lee(Kenneth)...hehe...

Meanwhile,Doreen were busying with our upcoming test on that particular day...

Ouch...my studio journey ended,for this semester! But I still wanna go in there!
Yet,I'm glad I didn't miss all these wonderful experiences!Am really delightful that I chose Broadcasting in the 1st place!THANK GOD for the experiences!

I Feel Like I Don't Belong To Them Anymore =(

I don't know why am I feeling like that.
Have been skipping all the CF(Christian Fellowship) meetings since I first joined...In fact,I'd only been to their Welcome Day and then......
Aihz...The 1st two times were due to my group assignments...
And now,I feel like I'm merely seeking all sort of excuses just to skip it...
That's why these questions were starting to cross my mind...

"Am I really belong to them,UTAR Christian Fellowship?"
"But why do I feel sooo left out?"
"Was it a mistake to join them?"
"What's my role there?"

Am currently chating with Kay Jin,telling him that I've Melancholia,and his reaction was...
"Really?You melancholic?"

Now I really think I'm melancholic...
Joining CF is what I wanted to do since looooooong ago.Having no CF in my high school crashed my desire.Seeing all my friends around in church joining CF's,getting involved in them...I was so envious.How I wished my school had a CF.
My big break came when I stepped into UTAR ,I thought.UTAR CF was so unfamiliar to me.I barely even know who to find just to sign up yet I was seeking all around for somebody to at least get me into CF.I knew I was sooo desperate for CF at that time and it my heart,there're this strong determination that...
"I WANNA JOIN CF!!!"

But these strong feelings eased...
I started questioning myself even just after a month I joined the society.
"It's not just a society!It's also a tunnel of relationship to God!"
It's God who brought me so far.Maybe it's just some dilemmas that everyone will go through in their lives.
I must admit that I haven't been getting closer to God since I came here to PJ,for studies.
I'm regretting already.

Yes!Chinese New Year Holidays!

Have been anticipating these days since I left home for PJ.
It's kind of weird coz' I used to loathe Chinese New Year(probably coz' it's just a season which I can only eat and sleep and eat and sleep) but this year was different...I waited and waited sooo long just for Chinese New Year as I could get back to Ipoh,my home!

Home Sweet Home...
Breathing Ipoh air,eating Ipoh food,sleeping on my very own Ipoh bed!
Everything's great!I was soooooo glad that I finally got to go home!
Many of my Ipoh buddies actually called up to me and sms-ed asking me out even before I went back...And yeah,I felt great!
Well,eventually I ran into a couple of my high school mates...It's great knowing all the latest updates of all my previous schoolmates...

On the second day of Chinese New Year,followed my family to Pangkor Island...I was informed quite last minute right after I went back to Ipoh and obviously,it wasn't in my plan...
Pangkor was truly crowded...And it's SCARY seeing such a huge amount of tourists!
Hmm...yet,the trip earned me some nice shots...

I always assumed I could adapt,regardless of what changes there would be...
Things aren't just as easy as my thoughts...

Miki's been yelling this out,since the 1st day she stepped into this unfamiliar place called...
'Petaling Jaya'
It's tough...when things change,not in a way we expected of course...I felt like I've such a whole loooong way to go...Not seeing & contacting all the friends I used to talk or see everyday in the past,and not being with my family members,and also not following the routine I used to have...I shall call it 'Misery'...
But I know this's just the beginning...How can I forsake,just in the beginning?
'It's just 200km away from home! Imagine those who're studying overseas!',something I always remind myself...I'm considered one of the lucky ones...And I know...

Studies...
Actually,Broadcasting is fun! Have to deal with many Radio & T.V. Broadcasting already in my assignments...Am going to the studio,learning sound recording + mixing, also have to go the T.V. stations,for survey + interviews...
These are things I always wished to do...And I'm doing them now!
Am also learning more & more about communications...Getting to know more about this issue...

HE knew I needed a friend...
God wouldn't want me to be alone...He actually sent someone,a friend I mean...who has the same passion with me in many aspect...Doreen is her name,my course mate...also came alone to this Unfamiliar place alone,having not even a friend...But God brought her to me...And at least I've somebody to share my 'loneliness' with...But she won't be here every weekend...So will be left alone during weekends...

Called mom...intended to tell her all about my CNY leave...

A Whole New Enviroment

Hmm...This's my 1st post of 2006...Hehe...
And it's also my 1st post ever since I joined UTAR...

Therefore,you can probably guess where am I now...yeah! Bingo!I'm in PJ now...left Ipoh before 2006 and headed to Langkawi Island with my auntie as well as 3 of her Beijing friends...
Trip's over by the 2nd of January & University Orientation was starting on the 3rd of January ...Was kind of rushed in fact,but THANK GOD I saw through it!

Officially,I attended my 1st university class today...Met some new people during orientation & in fact,quite friendly people...
Still wondering what will happen next...& who else I'll run into...
Oh yeah,I met my roommate yesterday...Finally...after all the curiousity!Hehe...
Glad that GOD has prepared all these great people & wonderful stuff e.g. my hostel for me...Am blessed,truly blessed!My FATHER loves me sooo much!!!
However,life without my computer is soooooo tough!And the connection here is sooooooooo slow!!! I'm gonna miss all my friends online!I'm gonna miss Ipoh very much!!!

So,that's me now!No more louging around in Ipoh...Eating my mom's coooking(*soooob*)...Lazing around all the time...etc...

Narrated much about Christmas and Birthday Surprises thereby now it's all about camps! Haha...I was supposed to have at least 4 camps to participate in but I forgo the others & chose 2 camps that's FGA North KL Satelite Churches Youth Camp & HUGE Camp 2005 which I've no regrets!
Time was cramped coz 2 of the camps were soooooo close yet THANK GOD I actually managed to settle everything! Praise the Almighty!Amen!
Okay,starting with the 1st one...

FGA Camp...
Venue:PeaceHeaven,Genting Highland
1st time participating in FGA camp or event,that's a fortune in fact...I knew nobody else except Suit Lin,who invited me and my sister,whom I pestered her to go(haha...)...yet,I gained great deal of joy and experiences which are truly precious...FGA camp was a refreshing one...That's where God taught me to pray...in toungue!!! And I heard him,indeed...I heard him speaking to me!!! Besides,I got to know a couple of cute and sincere friends! Pathetically,none of them knew about HUGE Camp...or else I would definitely pester them to HUGE(But I'll do that next year!)...Hahaha!What more???PICS!!!Yo~

I'm no more a girl who used to keep to myself & sobbed in a corner...I was RESTORED!!!

Obliviously & reluctantly,the loooong- awaited camp finally ended...I remember talking about it since Heal The Nation Conference...And time flies...That Sunday,when I was about to depart for Malacca was really stirring my blood...The excitements & the enthusiasism...Everything was like kind of...'aupiscious' to me! You can't blame me...I've been going up & down,from Ipoh,to KL,then to Malacca for HUGE Concerts practices for a month!And I still miss Malacca,though I've been to almost all the places in Malacca town...I miss all the friends I've known through the practices...Aaron,Louis,Lucius & Justin in particular...They're really nice people to talk to and I really,really miss them!!!
Oh...back to HUGE Camp...Went to Malacca early for the movie,The Chronicles of Narnia & concerts practice in fact...There,I ran into Charlene from Singapore!You're cute babe Charlene!Hehe...yeah,yet to mention...she's Michel's closest cousin!
Me,Charlene,Michel,Jon & Andy had some really crazy moments together before we stepped into Puteri Resort for HUGE!I still remember,vividly...that's a few minutes before we reached Puteri Resort! "Hey,countdown to HUGE...10,9,8...7,6,5...4,3,2......&......1!!!"
And it started...

It started with the first night concert...And that was my first time singing in YAM Band with Jon and Michel...

So...Some Christmas events I'd attended...
The 1st one was this...
YAN9 Christmas Concert...

Was really glad to see Baldwin kor and Leonard rocking on stage...YAN9 band was cool! The surprising part was to see Joseph singing on stage and in fact his voice was 1 of the best voices I've ever heard...Joseph you rock man!!!
The atmosphere was superb having DJ Kish hosting the whole event...with the combination of the response of the crowd...It turned out to be really merry! The performances and testimonies were terrific too!

My 2 days in Seremban wasn't sufficient I guess...hehe...I haven't tried the satays there!sighz....
However,it's great meeting ppl I didn't expected e.g. the YA band members from Malacca and Jon Wong!Thank ya buddy Jonathan Wong for guiding me about Seremban food!
I still miss the beef noodles and fish head noodles over there...*sooooob*
Never mind,shall head to Seremban again very soon...hahaha...

Sighz...I missed seeing Kay Jin's worship lead in Joey's church as I was obliged to depart back to Ipoh just a day before that 'auspicious' day of Kay Jin...

I know I'm bit late this year...setting up my christmas tree just 1 day before Christmas...Well,I've reasons...Everyone knows I've not been around in Ipoh...And I won't aound here that often anymore...university orientation is starting on the 3rd of Jan so I'll be leaving for PJ...

Secondly,went straight to join my classmates in KL for my graduation trip right after leaving Malacca...

As a matter of fact,that was a last minute plan of my parents...They merely told me and booked the hotel and everything approximately 1 or 2 days before I went to Malacca for practice...

Was graduated last Friday...coincidently on the last day of Planet Shakers conference 2005,which caused my absence to the conference...sighzzzz... Graduation nite was also held on that day... Didn't take much pics...forgot to bring my camera...

So,Miki's done with high school,finally!!!6 years...after such a loooong period...I couldn't believe my high school life just ended like this!Saw many of my classmates crying after the dinner on the graduation night...Every tears they shed was due to all the memories that had been accumulated since 2000...It's really a touching scene...seing even friends that we hardly see them cry...*Sob Sob*...I still miss them anyway...

I miss all my societies in school...
I miss all the competitions I had participated in...
I miss all the school excursions...
I miss all the duties I was responsible in...
I miss all the high school crushes and dilemmas...
I miss having really interesting topics with teachers...

Should be blogging this out loong ago...but...many things happened lately...
Okay,here it's...

Day 1 (5/11)
Status:Lost
Condition:Mr. Jon Chu bought us the wrong tickets to Malacca...Really wanted screw him up at that time...he bought the Sunday ones instead of the Saturday ones...I was like,er...oh..dead...Panic!Panic!The ultimate question crossed my mind at that moment,"Where am I going to stay in KL?"...Then,we called up to Michel...And Jon was..hehe...being lectured...In the end,we still managed to change the tickets and went straight to Malacca in the 4:30p.m. bus... The journey was really BORING!The traffic in Seremban was bumper to bumper...We're stucked in Seremban for more than an hour!Arrived at Malacca at approximately 8 at night...Ps. Joanne was already there,waiting for 2 of us...Brought us straight for dinner in some kind of 'Medan Selera'...Got to know Jonathan and Joel(Both brothers) who're like our tour guides in Malacca...

Day 2 (6/11)
Status:Hectic
Condition:Followed Ps. Joanne for both of the morning services in City Community Church...Then,I'd got to know this really funny guy named Aaron...He's really really hilarious man!Aaron and Zhen Xin(If I've not mistaken his name) brought us for lunch with chicken rice ball!It's exotic indeed! Michel met up with us half-way when we're dinning in the restaurant...After that,Aaron and Zhen Xin brought us to a pet shop where all the bizarre pets(Mostly reptiles) were sold...Then, made a beeline to a really traditional kind of restaurant for Malacca cendol!Man,MALACCA CENDOL RAWKS!!!(Elaboration,while we're savouring the delicious Cendol,Jon was still struggling in the bus from KL to Malacca...hahaha...)
It's then time to say goodbye to both of the gentlemen...3 of us,Devaraj,Michel and me dropped by Ps. Joanne for a quick shower...And the task we awaited for loong had finally came...Picked up Jon from the Central and went straight to CCC for concerts practice...

Condition:Our task was finally over!Ps. Joanne,Jonathan and Joel brought us for dim sum in a restaurant near the church that morning...aha...and then,it's time to really roam around Malacca town...poor Joel became our driver + tour guide but I assumed he had a great time with us too...

Haha...Found this Recipe accidently online...Didn't actually realize that my lovely name can be a type of beverage...

The Miki

Ingredients:

1 part Campari
1 part Soda water
1 part Grapefruit juice
Ice

Mixing instructions:

Put the ice on the glass first and then pour the Campari. The grapefruit juice is next. The soda is the last ingredient to add. Stir only once.

Yeah~Finally!Trial's over!I can breathe once again...My freedom is restored!
Felt like I've just resurrected...Revival...Miki's back!!!I'm no longer a dead fish...Now I'm much more dashing...Err....can eat,sleep,walk,stand,sit and talk nicely...

But this's really a coincidence...1 is Tien which stands for 'Sweet' while another is Xuan which stands for 'Sour'...Sweet + Sour..hehe..and Suit Lin is their combination..hahaha...

Just came back from Church Of Praise,where an evangelistic event was held... That's absolutely bizzare...hehe...People were doing lots of crazy stuff...batty challenges,dances..and of course,food!!Anyway,C.O.P youths are indeed frisky...They're like this since I ran into them...So,kind of used to it already..Oh yeah,the event was named 'Lunartix'.1 of the reason was probably to celebrate the mooncake festival..and of course,to evangelise youngsters...Eventually,had really great time over there, even thought I could barely get to know many new friends this time...Hmm...Lazy to write the whole loong report...check the pics for information then...Lolz...

Mom started nagging since I woke up this morning;kept reminding me to do this and do that...lots of stuff,houseworks...etc...Anyway,it's no more important...Coz' today's finally the day...John(my little brother) is going for Glaucoma operation...Mom & dad departed for Singapore with him this early morning...I'm anxious,truly anxious..."Oh Lord,you must help him O Lord...He need You...And He really really Need You!..."..Am mumbling this all the time...John must be safe...The operation must be a success!He must be healed!!
Being home alone(considered coz' my 1st younger isn't at home whole day long) this time really make me ill at ease...I'm worried!Really worried about John...1 more day...oh no!12++ hours,he'll be going into the operation room...And his eye will be operated...And if anything goes wrong,he'll be Blind!Oh no!!!..."Help Him O God,be with Him Lord..."...I just can't stop praying for him...My little brother,John...I can merely commit him to God by now...HE's the only one who can shield him...who can keep him safe...I Love him lots...Pray for him,my friends...please...

Watched the news this evening...Then only I discovered that countries like Romania,Switzerland & Mexico are facing with really horrible floods.That is indeed a tragedy!Ouch!Nothing else came to my mind but the Words of God in the book of REVELATION in the Bible.The haze problem was just managed to be controlled lately.Yet,Indonesia is still undergoing the terrible air-pollution.Wars & vandalism are happening everywhere especially in countries like England,USA...etc...And there are so many fatal diseases & sickness...And the storm in Tokyo...And Tsunami...And the Katrina Hurricane...Yeah,I'm not wrong!The world is indeed TOPSY-TURVY nowadays!Looking into all these matter of tragedies& disasters..Are they the signs?The signs like those stated in the book of Revelation?I wondered...
God had repeated it over & over again.."...and there came peals of thunder,rumblings,flashes of lightning and an earthquake"(Rev 8:5) "And there came flashes of lightning,rumblings,peals of thunder,an earthquake and a great hailstorm."(Rev 11:19)All the disasters...They're stated apparently!Who knows???But God does...
If these're the particular signs of what God had stated..That probably means,the SECOND COMING of JESUS CHRIST is near!Who knows???"Behold,I'm coming soon."(Rev 21:2).It's 1 of God's statements!This issue had really made me out of sorts.Had really lots of illusions on it.Nevertheless,no fear coz' God's shielding us..We all know it!We ought to keep our faith to Him & endure ."Be faithful,even to the point of death,and I will give you the crown of life."(Rev 2:10)

Was jolted awake by my dad this early morning...that's sooo annoying...However,it's because I had a incoming phone call...Reluctantly,I got off sleepily & picked up the phone...Keng Yee & Sook Yeng(My classmates) called...Okay,invigorated...was ready for the day...Our Food-hunting mission,in Ipoh town,where the food are galore ...I went out early to purchase some bathroom accesories...following which I met with Keng Yee & Sook Yeng...At approximately 12,Simon,Yoon Wah(My other classmates) arrived...They bought along Sook Ching(My best friend,not from our class)...Then,our mission started...we straight away made our beeline to the 'Rasa Sayang' Restaurant for chicken rice & other dishes...Was really full...After that lavish meal,we roamed around the shops & stores..hmm...like gift shops,clothes...etc...Poor Simon,was following us to all these girlie places...haha...And then we continued our food hunt...lots to say...hmm...how 'bout checking the pics below...You'll get a clue of what had happened next..hehe...Was exhausted..truly exhausted...Well,it's worthy..coz' we didn't spend much on food...(Gotta tell ya that Ipoh food are CHEAP!haha..).Instead,we splashed out a lot on shopping..me in particular...spent almost a hundred..hehe.......Haven't hang out with my classmates for really a looooong time...We usually don't have much time left coz' all our schedules are tight...tuitions,schools...Hmm...everyone's making efforts for the upcoming major exam,UEC!I love the day...It's really FUN!Thank guys!

Hoooray!!I'm 18 today!Yo!Started from last week,I received blessings...& I'm still counting the blessings I acquired...Hehe...*Grinning from ear to ear*...Received tons of sms early at12 this morning,while I was still online working on my new photo album.So far,13 'Happy Birthday' greetings received...Thanks a lot,my friends!Well,of course I'm anticipating more!
Yeah!My sister will be back from Seremban today*=D* and I'll be going out for dinner with my family.I bet it'll be a hearty 1...Yum!Makan!Besides,I'll be hanging out with a couple of my classmates & going for a food hunt tomorrow morning.Guess we'll be gouging on food...haha..Yeah!I'm on top of the world!Schedule's almost full these 2 days...Really can't wait...for the fun...I'm overjoyed!
